What “Done Right” Looks Like in Finish Carpentry
Finish carpentry is where a house’s flaws either get exposed or quietly corrected. Framing is never perfectly square. Walls wave. Corners aren’t true. Good trim work hides all of it — copes that close tight instead of miters filled with caulk, reveals that stay even as they run the length of a wall, scribes that follow a surface that was never straight.
It takes someone who understands the structure behind the trim, not just the trim itself. Done right, you never notice the work — you just feel that the room is finished.
Not Sure It Can Be Done?
A door that has to be reworked to fit an opening nothing standard will cover. A built-in for a nook with no right angles in it. The modification someone else already called impossible — send us a photo and a few lines. This is the work we like most, and it’s the reason people call us when the easy answer was “can’t be done.”

Do you work as a subcontractor for other general contractors?
Yes. Finish carpentry is available both as a prime service directly to homeowners and as finish work supporting other builders on their projects. If you’re a GC, our Pro Wing covers scope, scheduling, and terms.
How long does a finish carpentry package take?
It depends on scope — a single room’s trim might take a few days; a whole-home package takes longer. Your proposal lays out a realistic schedule.
Does finish carpentry require a permit?
Standalone trim and millwork typically don’t. If your finish work is part of a larger permitted remodel, it’s covered under that same permit package.
How disruptive is finish work to daily life at home?
It’s generally one of the least disruptive phases — precision work, not demolition — and we keep the space clean and protected throughout.
Is the work warranted?
Yes — our workmanship comes with a written warranty, spelled out in your proposal before you sign. If something we built isn’t right, we make it right.
